Paint & Paper Library

The ‘Jewels’ capsule collection presents a palette of eight dynamic hues that deliver an alluring combination of beauty and impact within contemporary interiors. A testament to nature’s ability to surprise and delight, these paint shades offer true vibrancy, each one matched to a small selection of rare and semi-precious minerals.

Discover schemes featuring shades from the ‘Jewels’ collection, used individually or paired with complementary paints and wallpapers from Paint & Paper Library.

Midelt Sage

Midelt Sage is a warm pistachio green that can instantly elevate a scheme. Inspired by ‘forest epidote’ specimens found in central Morocco, it looks particularly elegant on woodwork, where it brings a refined, characterful touch. Combine with the attractive mid-sheen (30-35%) of the Architects’ Satin finish for a smart, sophisticated pairing.

This inviting olive green can be used with confidence on all aspects of a space. For an element of contrast, @kerryvillers pairs with a coordinating wallpaper, Honesty – Chelsea Green II, to evoke the fresh, inspiring qualities of nature within a workspace.

Purple Azurite

A dining room is a space for hosting, be that intimate dinner parties or lively, convivial gatherings. Consider introducing rich, deeply coloured shades like Purple Azurite to provide a captivating backdrop for a dining scheme.

This vibrant jewel tone offers wonderful inspiration to curate an inviting tablescape, allowing you to experiment with striking colour contrasts that add impact. @rocking_the_cotswolds pairs Purple Azurite with both coordinating and contrasting patterned fabrics and dinnerware, foliage and fresh floral arrangements.

Rose Cluster

One of the gentler shades in the ‘Jewels’ palette, Rose Cluster is a delicate floral pink. Bright and uplifting, this shade feels noticeably fresher than some of the more muted, pink-neutral hues from Paint & Paper Library. It is therefore an excellent choice to enliven a dark alcove with a charming pink colour highlight.

@bramleyandbear incorporated Rose Cluster under the stairs to bring character and functionality to an easily overlooked space. The inclusion of natural wood and wicker as well as soft textural elements provides contrast, helping to achieve an elegant finish.

Malachite

Malachite is a sumptuous emerald hue, read from an exemplary piece of velvet malachite, also known as ‘forbidden broccoli’ due to its distinctive formation. In a design scheme, this vibrant teal works well with a ‘related colours’ approach, incorporating shades from the Original and Architectural Colours palettes to provide depth and dimension.

@bland_design combined Malachite with green-toned hues, Nori and Wattle III, to achieve this unique, statement bedroom space. The enchanting jewel tone adds an element of majesty and grandeur to complement the room’s large scope and impressive architectural detailing, whilst the pale green ceiling provides a softer contrast than pure white.

Atlas

The Paint & Paper Library palette comprises a selection of striking burnt orange hues, each one delivering impact to achieve schemes that feel highly contemporary. Atlas is the cleanest, most vibrant of these shades, ideal for creating a strong focal point that transforms the atmosphere of a room.

@laurahomeandlifestyle introduced Atlas within an otherwise neutral space, contrasting the period setting with a contemporary colour highlight for a bold, eclectic finish. Due to its natural source, this richly coloured hue still feels harmonious amongst a scheme of traditional wood and stone finishes.

Blue Tiger

In a similar approach, @crowncottagecurated used the vibrant blue, Blue Tiger, to enliven this traditional boot room. She embraced its sumptuous, rich blue hues on all four walls to create fabulous contrast against the warmth of the oak wood beams, doors and furniture.

For added impact, she painted the wooden panelling and bench seating in the statement rounded red, Grenache. This pairing has a bold and alluring appearance, creating a space that celebrates colour and its ability to add unexpected personality and flair to a space.
